The VIP High Point Market Experience tour for new buyers is returning to the High Point Fall Market, October 22 to 26, for the fourth time. The High Point Market Authority, in partnership with Soft Design Lab, created the six-day, five-night tour to give new or inexperienced buyers a complete introduction to the market.
Kathy Moran of Moran Interiors, who participated in the tour last market, explains, “Making the trip to High Point was absolutely worth the time and effort for my business, but taking the VIP tour was what made it the game changer. The access we had on the tour and the new lines we were exposed to have already become a part of my business.”
The tour includes a pre-show webinar, showroom visits, educational events and networking opportunities, including exclusive access to some events. Deb Barrett and Jackie Von Tobel, founders of Soft Design Lab, a creative community and think tank for the soft furnishings industry, will lead the tour. Von Tobel’s background is in interior design and Barrett’s is in soft furnishings design.
