Hearst Design Group, which includes Elle Decor, House Beautiful and Veranda, earlier this week announced a number of new hires and promotions: Jennifer Condon is joining as senior market editor, Benjamin Reynaert and Lucy McDonald Bamman have been named market editors, and Patrick Rogers has been appointed articles editor.
“We have such incredible new talent joining our team,” says Newell Turner, editorial director of Hearst Design Group. “Our market editors cover the territory for all three brands and are the eyes and ears of the magazines. Jennifer, Ben and Lucy possess a stellar combination of skills and bring exceptional expertise and design sensibilities that will enhance the collective creativity of our team. As articles editor, Patrick will also enrich the portfolio with his keen eye and deep knowledge of design.”
Additionally, Ingrid Abramovitch has been named Hearst Design Group features director, and Peter Terzian will become senior editor/writer for Elle Decor. “It’s very rewarding to see internal growth today,” says Turner. “In the editorial market department, we also promoted Catherine Lee Davis to senior market editor, Dayle Wood to market editor and Abby Wilson to assistant editor.”
