Cosentino’s new CEO, additions at Fairfield and Arteriors, and more

From C-suite switch-ups to design firm hirings, read on for BOH’s monthly roundup of arrivals and departures in design, manufacturing, media and more.

Retail & Manufacturing
Surfacing manufacturer Cosentino has appointed Pilar Cosentino as CEO. Cosentino has been with the company for more than 20 years and previously served as executive vice president. She succeeds Francisco Cosentino. Eduardo Cosentino will continue to serve as CEO of Cosentino Americas and has been appointed the global company’s sole executive vice president. Álvaro de la Haza is now the chief corporate officer, a role that will combine with his position as director of the Cosentino family office.

Stone surface company Neolith hired Walter Ceglia as its new global CEO. Ceglia joins after five years at the helm of HMY, a Franco-Spanish retail solutions company, prior to which he was CEO of French shipyard Chantier Naval Couach.

North Carolina–based furniture manufacturer Fairfield announced the promotion of Doug McClurd to chief operating officer and the hiring of Mark Huegerich as chief financial officer. McClurd has been with the brand for more than 18 years, most recently serving as the senior vice president of product, development and logistics; while Huegerich was most recently the chief financial officer at Vanguard Furniture.

Lovesac, known for its bean bag chairs and couches, welcomed Heidi Cooley as its first-ever chief brand and marketing officer. Cooley brings 20 years of experience, most recently as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Crocs, where she worked for more than eight years.

Furniture brand Coco Republic welcomed Charlotte Dub as its new global head of commercial partnerships. Previously with the company from 2011 to 2022, when she worked her way up from design consultant to national commercial manager, Dub rejoins Coco Republic from Australia-based Bowerbird Interiors, where she was head of design.

Fantini Rubinetti, the Italian bathroom and kitchen fixture brand, hired Alberto Pomello as the new managing director of Fantini USA. Pomello brings 13 years of experience in the luxury design industry. Before this, he was COO of interior brand Lualdi New York.

Urbia, a wholesale brand specializing in modern and contemporary furniture, appointed Anna Marie Alessi as its director of sales. Alessi joins from KC Store Fixtures, where she held the same position.

To the Trade
Bunny Williams Home appointed Tara Limoges as its trade and key accounts manager, a newly created position. Limoges joins from SA Baxter Design Studio, where she was global director of sales and marketing; before that, she was vice president of business partnerships at Hästens.

Arteriors has made two new hires: Gregory Heller is the new vice president of product after serving as the vice president of merchandising and residential case goods at Bernhardt. Robin Daniel is the new vice president of marketing, coming from Peacock Alley, where she was director of marketing.

Milton & King, the wallpaper brand, hired DeAnna Hain as its new U.S. head of marketing. Hain joins from marketing roles at Surya and York Wallcoverings, where she was executive vice president of marketing.

Design & Architecture
Los Angeles–based designer Coco Greenblum has launched her own firm, Studio Coco Greenblum. Prior to starting her own company, she worked for several AD100 firms, including Jeremiah Brent Design, Ken Fulk, Geremia Design, The Wiseman Group and Emily Summers Design Associates.

Las Vegas–based architecture firm Daniel Joseph Chenin welcomed Angele Motlagh as its new director of business and operations. Before joining the firm, she served as assistant general counsel at Bacardi North America.

Eisen Design House, the New York–based interiors firm, made a flurry of new hires this month. Will Saks joins as senior interior designer after serving in the same role at Dumais Interiors; Kristin Firine, also a senior interior designer, joins from Workshop/APD (she was a project manager at Gramercy Design before that); Isabella Ramirez comes on board as a junior interior designer after a role at Plan Architecture; and Amanda Spencer, who comes from Fenix Living, is the new studio manager.

The Brooklyn Studio, an architecture and interior design firm that specializes in the rehabilitation of historic buildings, has promoted Rachel Klein to the position of studio leader of interiors. Klein joined the company in 2020 as a designer, and previously worked at Suyama Peterson Deguchi and Olson Kundig.

New York–based firm TPG Architecture elevated Nicole Pagano from creative director to studio director, Santanna Cowan to creative director, and Amanda Mullooly to creative director for branding and graphics. Cowan was an intern at the firm in 2014 and returned full-time in 2019, and Mullooly has been with the company for 12 years.

Nashville-based Anderson Design Studio promoted two team members to partners: Samm Leiby, previously senior interior designer, and Olga Lochbihler, previously the firm’s accountant, who have been with the firm for more than eight and 11 years, respectively. They will join current partner Katie Stix at the helm; founder Kathy Anderson has stepped into a new role as chairwoman.

New York–based interiors firm Studio McGrath has brought on its first design director, Alice Engel. Engel has spent more than a decade in the industry, most recently as a freelance interiors and textile designer; her previous positions include roles at textile brand Mitchell Denburg, where she was VP of sales and product development, and Peter Pennoyer Architects, where she was director of interior design.

Media & PR
PR veterans and sisters Coco and Peyton Van der Wolk have launched Van der Wolk & Co., a boutique PR and communications company specializing in the interior design and luxury lifestyle industry. The women will serve as co-principals of the firm, with offices in New York and Florida and a roster of clients that includes Serena & Lily, Cece Bowman Interiors and Garden 26 Landscape Design. Coco was previously an account director at the PR firm NivenBreen, and Peyton was the senior manager of PR, licensing and social media at Jonathan Adler.

North Carolina–based communications firm The Media Matters promoted Jane Chero to senior vice president. Chero joined the company in 2022 as its director of client engagement.

Industry Organizations
The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation has announced its new officers and board of directors. Surya Inc. president Satya Tiwari has been elected board president; Hooker Furnishings CEO Jeremy Hoff is the first vice president; Caperton Furnitureworks CEO Gat Caperton is the second vice president; and Andmore CEO and executive vice president Greg Avitabile is the secretary-treasurer. The organization’s CEO, Karen McNeill Pond, will continue in her role as board chairman until her retirement at the end of the year. Brian Moffitt, former CEO of Richard Petty Motorsports, will take over as CEO on May 27. New directors include Markor chairman Mark Feng; Aico president David Koehler; John V. Schultz Furniture and Levin Furniture c0-CEO John Schultz; and Leggett & Platt vice president of global sales Richard Weeks.
