The Shade Store hosted the New York School of Interior Design fall alumni reception in its midtown showroom, where NYSID alumni, faculty and friends gathered to celebrate the school. Guests enjoyed farm-to-table craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, an interactive photo booth and departing gifts.
NYSID president David Sprouls, vice president for academic affairs and dean Dr. Ellen Fisher, director of development Joy Cooper, alumni council president Lawrence Levy and alumni council co-chair Erin Wells toasted alumni and guests. Shade Store co-founder Zach Gibbs, CMO Michael Crotty, and Ellen O’Neill, SVP, creative and visual, welcomed over 50 guests to their midtown showroom.
“The design community is an important part of our business, and we believe education is crucial to the advancement of interior design and the future of our industry,” said Gibbs. “We are honored to continue our partnership with the New York School of Interior Design through our support of both student and alumni programs.”
