Over 200 top designers, architects, members of the press and industry supporters celebrated the holidays at Boffi’s new De Padova showroom in SoHo, to benefit DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting Aids). During the holiday celebration, guests interacted with the space while listening to a live jazz band and sipping delicious wines, graciously provided by Bibi Graetz.
Notable guests included Italian architect and design pioneer Gaetano Pesce, The Italian Consulate Francesco Genuardi, designers from Cullman & Kravis, D’Aquino Monaco, Domo Architecture, Gensler, JG Neukomm Architecture, Peter Marino Architect, Raad Studio, Rockwell Group, WCA, Yabu Pushelberg and many more.
De Padova, a premiere interiors concept brand renowned for its refined Italian- and Scandinavian-influenced design, recently opened the doors of its first United States showroom. The opening marks the establishment of the brand’s very own U.S. headquarters, as its products were previously integrated in the Boffi SoHo showroom, just a few blocks away. Now occupying 4,000 square feet in a historic building, the De Padova flagship includes the brand’s refined furnishings, exquisite offerings by Boffi, and modular and versatile capabilities by MA/U Studio. Designed by Piero Lissoni and Boffi Group Design & Style, the loft-like space features striking ceilings and grand windows. Mirroring a contemporary, minimalist apartment, the showroom perfectly integrates all three brands into one domestic space to create a full home experience.
