Veranda editor in chief Steele Marcoux and Alfonso Marina hosted the exclusive opening of the new Alfonso Marina concept store with a cocktail party celebrating the legacy of the family-owned company during High Point Spring Market.
Over 150 top interior designers, architects, and industry notables joined the festivities and experienced an immersive journey through the Materia-designed space, which perfectly captured Alfonso Marina’s passion for detail and craftsmanship. Marcoux and Jennifer Levene Bruno, VP and group publisher of Hearst's Luxury & Design Collection were joined by Alfonso and Carlos Marina to celebrate with designers Barrie Benson, Mara Miller, Charlotte Lucas, Danielle Rollins, Phoebe Howard, Chad James, Anelle Gandelman, Kati Curtis, Corey Damen Jenkins, Libby Langdon and Larry Laslo.
“The new Alfonso Marina showroom was conceived to create a sequence of spaces modeled in light and material, building anticipation and emphasizing the craftsmanship of their pieces," said Gustavo Carmona of Materia, the showroom's architect. "We feel very grateful to be part of this project” Marcoux agreed, calling the new showroom a "temple of serenity in High Point."
