POSITION PURPOSE:
The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing an array of different projects to achieve a refined brand presence in all corporate and partner showrooms. This position will manage logistics of all orders and shipments necessary for showrooms and other department-related requests, including monitoring, tracking, and providing confirmation of receipt. Other responsibilities include assisting with planning and coordinating showroom installations and creating product rotations. There may also be a possibility to travel and visit key showroom partners. This hands-on role provides operational support to the Director of Visual Display & Strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage the process of creating, proofing, ordering and shipping product tags, wing tags, and other brand identifiers to all showrooms for collection launches and throughout the year.
•Manage new pricing roll outs and distribute new tags appropriately.
•Assist with organizing and merchandising products for new showroom openings.
•Assist with pack up for showroom moves and taking inventory when needed.
•Process all orders for showroom refreshes including monitoring tracking, and communication regarding delivery.
•Process and monitor trim sample replenishment orders for display walls in showrooms.
•Assist with managing wallpaper peg sample inventory until depleted.
•Assist in creating rotations for new trim peg wall layouts.
•Partner with TFF department for orders of Furniture that are for showroom display and logistics of pickup and delivery.
•Format, print and ship Thibaut Fine Furniture tags for pieces on the showroom floors.
•Assist with High Point Market show prep and follow up as needed.
•Maintain an organizational structure for record keeping for the visual department.
•Maintain the organization of the marketing closet and other storage maintenance.
•Support corporate strategic initiatives and other tasks as needed.
•Highly organized and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Persistent and proactive.
•Able to multi-task and manage a dynamic list of priorities.
•A team player and a self-starter.
•Able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and other related physical activity to set up a showroom.
•Must be meticulous with strong attention to details.
•The job requires the use of a computer, iPad, and other technological items, throughout the workday.
•Some travel to corporate and partner showrooms may be required.
•Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field prefer, or a combination of education and experience.
•Strong computer skills, including all MS Office Programs.
•Proficiency in using all Adobe interfaces.
•AutoCAD and SketchUp a plus.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
