Position Overview:
McKAY, a high-end residential design studio, is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and energetic Studio Assistant. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the luxury design field, working closely with a dynamic team. The Studio Assistant will support various aspects of McKAY’s day-to-day operations, from administrative tasks to design collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, organizing meetings, and general office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Sourcing: Research and source design materials, furnishings, and other items as needed for ongoing projects.
Invoice Management: Handle invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor payments using Studio Designer.
Design Collaboration: Participate in design discussions, provide support on project deliverables, and contribute creative ideas.
Social Media: Assist with social media content planning and execution, including photographing projects, drafting captions, and scheduling posts.
Scheduling: Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure timelines are met and schedules are maintained.
2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a design or creative environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Basic Excel skills for data entry.
Experience with Studio Designer is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for high-end residential design and eagerness to develop within the industry.
