We're looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Part-Time Social Media & Content Coordinator to help grow our online presence and showcase our work in a way that reflects our brand and values. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through visual content, understands social media strategy, has an appreciation for interior design and architecture, and is excited to work closely with a small, collaborative team. This role is primarily remote, but candidates should be based in the New York City area and available to attend occasional photoshoots, project installations, site visits, or studio meetings when needed.
The Social Media & Content Coordinator will work directly with the Principal to plan, create, schedule, and manage content across our social media platforms. The ideal candidate has strong visual instincts, excellent writing skills, understands current social media trends, and can translate completed projects and behind-the-scenes moments into engaging content.
Qualifications & Experience required for the position:
Experience:
Approximately 2+ years of experience managing social media for a business or brand
Experience within interior design, architecture, luxury lifestyle, home furnishings, hospitality, or related creative industries is strongly preferred
Experience growing Instagram and creating engaging Reels is highly desirable
Technical skills:
Proficiency with Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Canva required
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, or InDesign) is a plus
Experience with scheduling tools such as Later, Planoly, or similar
Basic photo and video editing skills
Familiarity with Google Workspace

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Content Planning & Strategy
- Develop monthly content calendars
- Plan Instagram posts, Reels, Stories, Pinterest content, and LinkedIn updates
- Brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with AD’s brand and POV
- Identify opportunities to highlight projects, renovations, design details, team culture, and process
Content Creation
- Edit photos and short-form videos for social media
- Create graphics and story templates using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Write engaging captions that reflect the AD’s POV
- Organize and maintain photo and video assets
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms
- Proactively engage with relevant designers, architects, photographers, vendors, publications and collaborators
- Track performance metrics and provide monthly reporting with recommendations
Marketing Support
- Support basic SEO and website traffic initiatives, including keyword-conscious captions, Pinterest descriptions, links to relevant project pages and strategic calls to action.
- Assist with portfolio updates and website content as needed
- Help prepare content for press features and awards submissions
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during installations or site visits when needed
Position Details:
- Part-time (approximately 10-20 hours per week)
