We are seeking a Senior Designer with at least 8 years of high end residential interior design experience. The Senior Designer will work closely with principal and architectural designer to oversee and execute projects from conception through completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications, budgets, and timelines. Ideal candidate should have excellent organization and communication skills in addition to a strong work-ethic, attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and source materials, hardware, fabrics, tile, lighting, plumbing, artwork, furniture, treatments, and accessories based on the specific requirements of each project
Manage internal teams, vendor relationships, contractor execution, and client expectations
Acute attention to detail in reviewing all documents to ensure that they incorporate design intent and technical accuracy
Ability to manage a team through strong leadership, effective communication, collaboration, motivation and respect
Be the primary point of contact for the client and builder. Communicate frequently to ensure quality control and all phases/timelines/schedules are being completed on time and on budget
Schedule and perform routine site visits and keep the Principal and design team updated on progress and timelines
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design program
8+ Years experience in a high-end residential design firm along with technical knowledge of the building and construction process
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required in addition to MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Photoshop)
Experience in Design Manager or other design management software preferred
Ability to work in person 5 days a week in Raleigh, North Carolina
Salary is commensurate with experience. Candidate must be either a U.S. citizen or have a valid employment visa to work in the U.S. and be located in Raleigh, North Carolina
