For its store at 500 Park Avenue in New York City, FRATO is looking for an Inside & Outside Sales professional to be part of the team.
FRATO is seeking an exceptional, skilled, passionate, and polished Sales professional, reporting directly to the Showroom Manager. Strong selling and communication skills will help you to build relationships with clients collaboratively with colleagues. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, results-driven, and have a genuine passion for people and luxury design products. You will work with the existing team to make a significant impact on our efforts to continue to grow our business in the US.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Represent the FRATO brand through communication, personal appearance and professionalism
• Generating new leads, reaching out to existing leads and building relationships with potential and existing clients
• Prospecting firms and contacts to develop new clients as well as maintaining regular contact with an existing client base
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcoming Trade and Retail customers to the showroom on Park Avenue
• Assessing customer’s needs and providing assistance and information on product features
• Visiting customers’ residences and businesses for design consultations
• Making product presentations to clients
• Update firm’s libraries and present new products
• Estimating costs and submitting quotes for client’s approval
• Informing customers on delivery dates and schedules and maintaining sales records
• Assisting in choosing the most appropriate finishes, materials and solutions for each project
• Completing every project from start to finish with the utmost after-sales provided
• Ensure sales goals are achieved
• Collaborate with the showroom team to maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store
To be considered as a candidate, please meet the following criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Business Administration
• 3+ Years of sales experience in the luxury home furnishings industry
• Experience and knowledge of the A&D industry
• Computer proficiency and strong customer service skills
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Quick learner with outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Photoshop will be a plus
• Ability to travel locally or out of state
• Eligible to work in the US
• Willing to work on Saturdays
