Description: This role will oversee projects from sales handoff through final completion, working closely with the project executive located at our French headquarters. We are seeking an experienced project manager who uses strong judgment and experience to plan, coordinate, and drive projects to completion while leading and directing the work of others. This person will serve as the main point of contact for contractors, designers, subcontractors, and clients regarding material selections, sample requests and approvals, project costs, installation subcontracting, and scheduling. They will be responsible for preparing status reports for the leadership team and ensuring all work aligns with contract requirements as well as verifying accurate field dimensions, facilitating communication among all stakeholders, and holding department heads accountable to project schedules. Additionally, this role will have oversight of vendor selection for buy-out items, review constructability issues with department heads to identify solutions, update project schedules weekly while tracking financial reports and key metrics. As Feau Boiseries Inc. manages projects throughout the United States, this role entrails domestic travel for site visits and follow up with key stakeholders.

The Project Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and collaborates closely with Project executive, logistic services, estimating services.

Duties and Requirements:
• Proactively manage assigned projects to ensure that contracted work is completed accurately, on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Work with Engineering Department on shop drawing review and final drawing release review.
• Maintain client relationships, perform design reviews, and track changes.
• Prepares and submit accurate, detailed sample requests to the Project executive, including clear descriptions and project scope.
• Return Sample Approvals with client signature to Head of Operation and Project

Job Requirements

Main Functions:
• Acts as the liaison between production and project stakeholders, including general contractors, architects, designers, and client representatives.
• Project scheduling (Microsoft Project)
• Cross departmental communication, including our French facilities (English speaking)
• Company software platforms to include but not limited to: Auto CAD and Microsoft Office and Teams.
• File maintenance as required
• Quality control
• Change Order Management
• Progress invoices reports
• Project Profitability

Qualifications & Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• 4-Year degree in related field preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in the residential custom woodworking or construction industry.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of and appreciation for high-level craftsmanship.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and assists project engineers by conducting field measurements and identifying interference.
• Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Windows-based applications, Microsoft Office, Microsoft project and teams.
• Must possess strong mathematical aptitude.
• Must possess a strong understanding of the English language, French is a plus.
• Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are essential
• Must be capable of dispute resolution.
• Possession of a valid Driver License with a clean driver record in accordance with the company’s insurance carrier’s standard may be required.
