A.Wooten Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Project Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, in office position based in our Buckhead Atlanta office. This role is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in high end residential design and is confident in managing projects from initial walk-throughs to installation.
Our ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented interior designer with a strong work ethic and a passion for creating exceptional client experiences. We need a project manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, can confidently manage multiple projects at once, and take pride in ensuring every detail is executed precisely and efficiently.
The successful candidate is design-driven and comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating closely with the Principal Designer and design team. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage residential design projects from initial design through installation
* Create furniture plans, elevations, and design drawings in AutoCAD
* Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, + installation timelines
* Source, specify, price, + order furniture, lighting, finishes, textiles, + antiques
* Create and maintain paint, lighting, plumbing, hardware, + finish schedules
* Create proposals + communicate effectively with clients
* Prepare work orders and manage custom furniture, window coverings, and floorcoverings
* Assist in client meetings, site visits, + installations
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, + workrooms
* Track orders and provide regular project status updates
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
* Proficiency with AutoCAD
*Minimum 3-5 years experience in an a residential Interior design firm
