This position serves the mission of Andrea Claire Studio by ensuring every custom lighting project moves efficiently from signed proposal through fabrication, delivery, and installation. The Operations Manager owns the internal execution of projects, purchasing, vendor coordination, production scheduling, logistics, and studio operations so that projects are delivered accurately, on time, and at the quality standards expected by the studio.
This role serves as the operational backbone of the company, creating systems, maintaining organization, solving logistical challenges, and supporting both the sales and production teams.
Project Management
• Assume ownership of all projects after contract execution.
• Receive project handoff from the Sales Manager.
• Review project scope for completeness.
• Build internal production schedule.
• Coordinate project timelines.
• Track project milestones.
• Monitor fabrication progress.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate internal communication between design, fabrication and vendors.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Escalate delays or risks to leadership.
• Coordinate final delivery and installation logistics.
• Verify project completion and closeout documentation
Production Coordination
• Maintain production calendar.
• Coordinate workflow with fabrication partners.
• Schedule outside vendors.
• Monitor capacity planning.
• Prioritize production based upon delivery deadlines.
• Ensure production documentation is complete before fabrication begins.
• Verify material availability prior to production.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in operations, production coordination, project management, or studio management.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent custom projects.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Adobe InDesign required.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience with CRM software (Pipedrive preferred).
• Experience with freight coordination and purchasing preferred.
• Interest in architecture, interiors, furniture, decorative arts, or luxury design.
