Quintus is looking for a dynamic, detailed and passionate person to join our team at the Pacific Design Center. This individual will partner with our inside sales and marketing teams to develop our client base and grow our sales.
Responsibilities will include:
1) Work directly with residential interior designers to fulfill their project needs. Present new collections to design firms, create marketing packages for mailing and drop-off, generate quotes, and close sales.
2) Communicate directly with our artisan brands to grow our sales. Collaborate with our team to develop outreach and marketing strategies, plan launch of new collections, and take new collections on the road to our greater LA client list.
3) This position will be 75-80% on the road in greater Los Angeles. The expectation is 12-15 direct client contacts per week. (Combination of presentations, drop-offs, social events, etc.). You will make formal presentations to design firms, but also utilize your time on the road to further deepen current relationships and find new clients.
4) Work with showroom team to grow total showroom sales of textiles, wall covering, furniture, lighting and accessories.
The ideal candidate will:
1) Have exceptional attention to detail.
2) Have 5+ years of experience in the interior design industry as an outside sales rep.
3) A strong background and understanding of software and computers. (Studio IT, QuickBooks, MS365, Dropbox, Apple, etc)
4) A positive attitude. An eagerness to work hard every day. And a desire to be part of a fast-growing, dynamic company.
5) Have a reliable car.
Other Details:
1) The position will be based at our Pacific Design Center showroom. This is not a work from home position.
2) Base salary + commission, benefits, etc.
3) When goals are hit, you have the opportunity to travel to Paris with us for Deco-off
3) Expenses, entertaining, car allowance, etc. are all reimbursed.
