Full Time Position- Base salary plus sales bonus plan.

We’re looking for a nimble, seasoned Sales Manager with excellent client development skills, deep connections within the design community nationally or long relationships in the retail home market. A flexible and versatile candidate with a deep understanding of retail merchandising who is not only great at defining the market and delivering that feedback to the development team in response, but also has the drive and commitment to maintain and build on our key account relationships. Our ideal candidate can easily move from a sales presentation with a retailer buying team, to a home furnishings tradeshow floor, to a development meeting with our Art Director. To be successful in this role, you should be experienced with the Home Furnishings industry with established relationships and contacts, as well as an understanding of artwork and design. Additionally, experience in end-to-end EDI/ecommerce is a plus. There is also a significant amount of data management and project management. This segment of our business is managed internally by the candidate with sales support coming from an external repping group and design and marketing support coming from the internal Grand Image team. The ideal candidate is Seattle metro area based but would consider other candidates. Travel with national reps and to 6 national trade shows yearly are required, plus training and onboarding any new sales reps. See

Job Requirements

Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Solid understanding of home furnishings market product, pricing and competition
• Highly efficient digital skills including full MS Office suite as well as Photoshop, Google suite and Asana and SalesForce a plus.
• Strong understanding interior design and art
• Knowledgeable in EDI compliance and systems
• Excellent communication skills; visual, verbal, and written
• Effective presentation capabilities
• Previous project management experience a plus
• Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders internally as well as partnering outside the organization
• Easily able to adapt to new situations and concerns; is comfortable wearing many hats
• Proven record of measurable retail success
• Strong ability to work independently while remaining part of a team

The collection is primarily sold through our national multi-line repping group and is exhibited at national furniture markets in High Point NC, Las Vegas, and Atlanta
