Barrow Interiors is seeking a part-time/full-time Junior Designer/Project Manager to join our boutique interior design studio located on King Street in Charleston, SC. This person will support the design team and assist the Senior Designer and Principal in all phases of design projects from inception to procurement to final installation.
Design Responsibilities:
Participate and support our design team in all phases of multiple design projects
Assist with all phases of procurement from sourcing and quoting to executing orders and tracking
Design elevations and furniture layouts in AutoCAD
Develop client presentations and visuals along with the Senior Designer/Principal’s vision
Organize project specifications into Google Drives and physical project binders
Prepare and maintain supporting project documentation such as finish schedules and room elevations
Participate in site visits and client meetings with the design team
Organize and manage the in-studio sample library
2+ years minimum professional experience in high-end residential interior design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office is required
Knowledge of Studio Designer and SketchUp is preferred
Strong design and presentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and proactive
Organized and detail oriented
