Requirements Include:
• Possess a degree from an accredited Interior Design program
• 2 years + working experience in a design firm
• Proficiency in Studio Designer preferred
• Extremely organized and methodical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional portfolio of work
• Experience with all phases of Interior Design process
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Adobe Suite
• Proficient in Chief Architect preferred
• Must have personal stability
• Must have a mature, pleasant and professional phone presence and demeanor
• Must have an easy communication style and work confidently with design staff, vendors and luxury clientele
• Must live within 45 minutes of Sebastopol
• Must be able to come into the office – this is not a remote position
• Must be exceptionally driven and passionate about achieving excellence in your work
• Must be able to demonstrate a history of exquisite follow through
Daily tasks to include:
• Drafting: Chief Architect, InDesign, Elevations, etc. Only candidates with digital drafting skills will be considered
• Preparation of materials in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
• Preparation of proposals and purchase orders
• Presentation preparation and creation
• Maintaining finish schedules and organizing client selections
• Gathering estimates from vendors and trades
• Coordinating deliveries and trades
• Maintaining client files and notes
