Melissa Sacco Interiors is a boutique, full-service residential interior design firm specializing in high-end interiors that are thoughtful, refined, functional, and tailored to the way our clients live.
We are seeking a talented and highly organized Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a designer with strong residential design experience who is confident managing multiple aspects of a project from concept through installation and thrives in a collaborative, detail-driven studio environment.

Responsibilities
• Support and manage residential design projects through all phases, from initial concept and design development through procurement and installation
• Develop thoughtful, elevated design concepts consistent with the firm’s aesthetic and each client’s individual needs
• Create space plans, furniture layouts, elevations, and detailed design drawings
• Source and specify furniture, lighting, plumbing, tile, stone, hardware, fabrics, wallcoverings, window treatments, accessories, and finishes
• Prepare client presentations, specifications, schedules, and project documentation
• Coordinate with vendors, showrooms, contractors, architects, workrooms, and trades
• Obtain and review quotes, pricing, lead times, dimensions, and product specifications
• Verify measurements, dimensions, quantities, and specifications with exceptional attention to detail
• Assist with procurement, order tracking, project timelines, and installation coordination
• Attend client meetings, site visits, vendor appointments, and project installations
• Proactively identify potential issues and communicate solutions to the design team
• Maintain organized project files, samples, materials, and studio resources
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably within a high-end residential design firm
• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of residential construction, space planning, materials, finishes, furnishings, and custom design
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software
• Strong sourcing, specification, and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and project-management abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately review dimensions and specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
