Job Description

As an Interior Designer / Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the studio, partnering closely with the Principal to bring exceptional residential and boutique commercial projects to life.
This position is ideal for an experienced designer who is equally passionate about design excellence and operational execution. You thrive on organization, anticipate challenges before they arise, and understand that extraordinary design is achieved through thoughtful collaboration, meticulous planning, and flawless execution. From initial concept through procurement, installation, and project completion, you will lead every phase of the design process while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with our clients' expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead multiple luxury residential and boutique commercial projects from concept through installation.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators.
• Oversee construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, shop drawings, and coordination with project consultants.
• Partner with the Principal to develop and execute each project’s creative vision.
• Produce and oversee design presentations, specifications, furniture plans, construction documents, and custom design details.
• Maintain design integrity throughout every phase of the project while balancing budget, schedule, and constructability.
• Continuously research and introduce new materials, furnishings, and design resources.
• Manage all aspects of FF&E procurement, including proposals, purchase orders, budgeting, tracking, deliveries, and installations.
• Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, freight companies, receivers, and installers to ensure seamless project execution.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury residential interior design or boutique commercial/hospitality.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Studio Designer (or similar procurement software) and Asana is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, interior architecture, custom millwork, and detailing.
• Experience coordinating architects, consultants, contractors, and fabricators.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for beautifully executed design.
• This is an in person office position and candidate must have a car and insurance.
