Studio Benson is seeking an experienced interior designer to support the interiors on a high-end residential project in Los Angeles. This is a contract role focused on soft interiors and FF&E; architectural and millwork scopes are handled separately. It is a collaborative position working under the principal's direction, with clear guidance given on the design, suited to someone with the experience and judgment to carry it out reliably and thoughtfully.

Qualifications & Skills
• ~3+ years experience in high-end residential interior design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Sourcing and specifying furnishings, lighting, draperies, and fabrics
• Development and maintenance of FF&E schedules and specifications
• Management of vendor relationships, trade accounts, and lead times
• Production of AutoCAD furniture layouts and space plans
• Preparation of polished client presentations in InDesign and Photoshop
• Excellent eye for proportion, material, finish, and color
• Established LA trade relationships a plus
• Self-directed and resourceful, able to manage their own workflow and handle details reliably

Position Details
• Immediate start
• Contract basis, at least ~20 hours per week
• Ongoing through the project with potential to extend as additional work arises
• Compensation: Starting at $50/hour, depending on experience
• Must be Los Angeles based and available to meet in the office periodically
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
