This is a hands-on internship working directly with the principal and an interior designer/project manager in a small, collaborative studio on active residential projects. The intern will support both the creative and technical sides of the work, as well as the day-to-day operations typical of a boutique design studio.
Responsibilities:
Assist with CAD drawings, including furniture layouts, floor plans, and basic elevations
Prepare client presentation decks (layouts, mood boards, furniture plans, and material selections)
Help prepare FF&E schedules and specification sheets
Organize and maintain the studio sample library
Coordinate sample pickups, returns, and showroom drop-offs
Support project coordination, tracking, and general studio organization
Assist with installations and on-site project needs
This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants meaningful, real-world experience in high-end residential interior design.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD
Detail-oriented, polished and professional
Passionate about interior design
Strong presentation skills on Adobe Creative Suite & Canva
Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with a 4-month commitment to role
