Amanda Reynal Interiors is a FL based residential interior design firm looking for an enthusiastic designer to join the team. The position will be local to West Palm Beach, FL and will report to the Principal. The role will be defined by the principal and candidate based on experience and availability. The role will interface with clients and vendors as needed to complete full service decoration, design and renovation projects.
Duties will Include, but are not Limited to:
- Work closely with Principal and directly with client throughout the duration of each project
- Create design schemes with product selections, budgets & prepare presentations for clients
- Assist with sourcing fabrics, lighting, furniture and accessories
- Procurement of quotes and estimates from vendors
- Create estimates, purchase orders and invoices
- Create and track client budgets, orders, delivery, and install schedules
- Manage project from design phase through installation to ensure seamless process
- Maintain strong and communicative relationships with trades and vendors
- Manage ordering process by analyzing lead times & placing purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery
- Expediting and Procurement: track orders and follow-up from PO to shipping and arrival date- work with vendors and our warehouse to ensure items arrive as specified. Work to resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn both independently and in a team setting
- Ideally 2+ years work experience with an an interior designer
- Ideally Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program or equivalent
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe Programs, Google Suites and Apple software
- Knowledge of EOS business model is a plus
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage complex projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to turn on a dime, remain poised, and manage client expectations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, humility, and a great sense of humor
- Project management, procurement, and expediting experience
- Extremely organized, multi taking, follow-up and problem solving
- Posses professionalism and design style in keeping with our firm
- Self-starter with ability to work in fast paced environment
- Original thinking and creativity and develops innovative approaches
- Knowledge of showrooms, vendors and design trade process
- Valid US Driver’s License required
- Open to travel and working on projects outside of the immediate office area
