Job Description

Residential interior design business seeking an organized and motivated project manager with design experience, 2-4 years preferred. Position would work closely with the owner to coordinate all aspects of design including budget, purchasing, vendor coordination, timeline and client communication. Projects are in the NY/NJ metro area and travel may be required.

Responsibilities will include:
- Creating and updating internal documents for projects such as paint, lighting, hardware, plumbing and tile schedules
- Client site visits to facilitate delivery of items and coordinate installations in addition to communicating with contractors.
- Obtaining pricing, lead times and availability for furniture, fixtures, fabrics and decorative items.
- Preparation of proposals and purchase orders using Studio Designer software
- Create and monitor project budgets
- Place, process and manage all vendor orders through completion
- Manage issues with contractors, vendors and clients. Identify and document problems and troubleshoot solutions

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (in interior design a plus but not required)
Microsoft Office
Experience with Studio Designer software is a plus
