Shana Shaiman Interiors is seeking an experienced interior design intern to join our studio immediately. The ideal candidate is a current or recently graduated interior design student who lives in or near Manhattan. The position is for two days a week at $25/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1.CAD drawings and furniture layouts
2.Obtain pricing for wallpaper, carpeting, lighting, and furnishings
3.Source from the D&D, pick up and drop off samples
4. Coordinate with vendors, showrooms, storage facilities, and contractors
5. Assist with client presentations and furniture/delivery schedules
6. Accept deliveries to clients’ homes
7. Assist with project installations
8. Keep the materials library tidy
9. Sounding board for inspiration and design schemes
EXPERIENCE TO INCLUDE:
1.Proficiency in Adobe Suite
2.Proficiency in Studio Designer
3.Proficiency in AutoCad
