Kerry Joyce Associates is seeking a talented and experienced Design Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of interior design experience, with a strong preference for high-end residential design, and is looking to take on greater responsibility within an established, collaborative design firm. We are looking for a creative, organized, and highly motivated designer who can confidently contribute throughout all phases of the design process. Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Principal through all phases of design, from concept through installation.
• Assist with the development and refinement of design concepts, furniture plans, finish selections, and material palettes.
• Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Lead the procurement process, including sourcing, quoting, ordering, tracking, and receiving.
• Prepare and contribute to client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Produce and update AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and other project drawings.
• Develop and maintain organized project files, schedules, and material documentation.
• Oversee the inspection of incoming packages and samples, identifying discrepancies or damages as needed.
• Attend site visits, client meetings, vendor meetings, and installations.
• Coordinate local errands, including vendor pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal team members.
• Take initiative in identifying project needs, resolving issues, and manage keeping projects organized and moving forward.

• 3–6 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential design.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the residential design process and experience contributing to all phases of a project.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Experience with Studio Designer preferred.
• The ability to use a variety of software tools and learn new ones easily, including in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bluebeam Revu, and Zoom
• Ability to work collaboratively while also taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally for site visits, client meetings, and project installations.
