We are seeking a designer/ project manager with 3-5 years of experience in high-end residential design. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and experienced in textiles, finishes, plumbing, decorative hardware, and developing furniture and finish selections. Skilled in AutoCAD SketchUp and Studio Designer.
This is a full-time position, offering competitive compensation, healthcare and paid vacation/holidays.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare floor, space, millwork and furniture plans/elevation that communicate design intent
- Generate proposals and purchase orders
- Create and monitor project budgets
- Place and manage all orders through installation
- Coordinate deliveries to project and warehouse storage facilities
- Generate paint, lighting, hardware, plumbing and tile schedules
- Review and redline all shop drawings to ensure design intent
- Generate status reports and be prepared to discuss the status of all orders on all projects at weekly client meetings
- Create installation timelines; organize and oversee installations
3-5 years design experience.
Proficient in AutoCad
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Studio Designer preferred
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
