The ideal candidate is detail oriented, extremely organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional manner.
You should be self motivated, a team player, passionate about design and an all around nice person with a sense of humor.
Responsibilities include:
- assist with all phases of the residential design process from conception through implementation
- source and specify furnishings, materials and fixtures
- assist with client presentations, CAD drawings and design boards
- help to maintain the sample and prop libraries
- assist with contractor coordination and correspondence
- assist with deliveries & installations
- assist with styling, photoshoots and events
Must have at least one to two years of experience working in a high end residential design firm. Knowledge of industry sources, antiques and vintage furniture and textiles.
Proficiency in AutoCad. Studio Designer and Photoshop is a plus.
Must be able to take a well composed photo/video for social media.
Position is based in Ridgewood NJ studio and must be able to travel and drive.
