Julie Hillman Design is an AD100 Interior Design firm that seeks a full-time, highly organized and detail-oriented bookkeeper with 3 years of experience using Design Manager software to start immediately. This position requires an extreme attention to detail, organization, and follow through. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to easily multitask.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Functioning as Head Bookkeeper in all matters.
-Create weekly billing entries for Controller
-Create monthly reimbursable expense billing
-Managing Accounts Payable
-Purchase orders: liaise with Design Team and Suppliers to make timely deposits and payments and to coordinate shipping.
-Managing corporate credit cards and reconciling credit card accounts.
-Oversee IT issues
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Over 3 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience, ideally in an interior design or architecture studio
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Advanced proficiency in Design Manager, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook), and Google Sheets
-A strong work ethic, high integrity level and a “can-do” attitude
-Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
-Able to work both independently and as a team
-Self-starter & thorough in their work
-Positive & up-beat demeanor
-Problem solver, resourceful in identifying problems and providing resolutions
