WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:
The Regional Manager’s main responsibility is to provide sales, merchandising, and operational leadership to the Los Angeles Showroom and team.
• Oversee all aspects of the Los Angeles showroom, including setup, daily operations, and team management
• Drive financial performance and aim to exceed projected sales targets
• Coordinate staff to provide the best client experience in a fast-paced, creative, sales-driven environment
• Support sales team in assisting clients; project scheming, educating on areas of use and application, and advising on alternate product options as needed.
• Implement & manage consistent client outreach & follow up
• Heavy focus is placed on interpersonal relationships with clientele, to develop and maintain client loyalty and enjoyable shopping experiences
• Synchronize the efforts between the inside and outside sales teams to maximize results
• Communicate corporate directives to direct reports in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain and improve the sales team’s performance through training and leadership
• Set goals for staff and communicate metrics
• Celebrate successes with the team
• Oversee the sample room and its operation
• Maintain and organize the showroom merchandise and displays
• Review open orders and back orders daily to ensure orders are being shipped out promptly
• Lead weekly team meetings to set goals and team build
• Participate in monthly territory sales meetings
• Administer mid-year/end-of-year performance evaluations
• Forecast sales projections & reports for senior management
• Maintain a budget for showroom operations
• Assist and resolve client inquiries and complaints
• Act as a strong Brand representative in the community and coordinate and attend local networking events
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitors
• Be a market expert: current interior design trends, the players in the industry, projects in the designated territory, industry events, etc.
