Abby Hetherington Interiors is looking for an Architectural Designer to join its team located in Bozeman, MT. Abby Hetherington Interiors is a fast-paced environment where bold ideas are encouraged and excellence in design is required. The ideal AHI candidate will be a self-starter who values collaboration and enjoys working on a team.

Essential Job Functions

1. Work with the lead designer on all AHI projects. Create and update drawing sets; coordinate design elements with architectural models and check for consistency between schedules, specs, and drawings. Typical common project elements drawn in sets include:
-cabinetry
-tile actuals
-plumbing and appliance actuals
-hardware and accessory actuals
-built-ins
-decorative lighting / custom lighting
-furniture and custom furniture
-interior finish details, in coordination with the architect and builder
-general detail drawings

2. Project management and coordination with builder, architect, subcontractors, and vendors
-timeline management
-redline and give feedback on architectural elements
-review shop drawings
-on-site coordination

3. Create full detailed interior drawing sets; coordinate design elements and check for consistency between schedules, specs, and drawings.

4.Working drawings / construction drawings

5.Model / drawing updates based on client feedback

6.Site visits; including site survey / as-built measurement and construction administration

7.Provide support and guidance to design team, to assist with above tasks
-client meeting support
-concept sourcing
-material/finish organization

8.Design multiple options for casework and furniture

9.Create renderings

-Minimum 4-year Bachelor Degree, Interior Design or Architecture
-Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience
-Owning drawing sets for individual projects
-We are looking for individuals who can work on multiple projects and within set deadlines
-Must have strong organization, communication and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
-Must be authorized to work in the United States
