Wesley Moon Inc. is a boutique New York-based interior design firm specializing in high end residential and hospitality projects worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer with 4+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate embraces the importance of every architectural detail involved in crafting uniquely tailored spaces that function seamlessly for clients, as well as create the backdrop for the decorative scheme and furnishings. Extensive aptitude with AutoCAD and construction documentation is imperative, as well as excellent knowledge of construction processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside the Senior Interior Design staff and Principal to produce construction design packages, ranging from written Scopes of Work, Client Presentations, to full Construction/Bid drawings for contractor use
- Assemble and format drawings into full drawing sets that follow the Firm's standards and protocols
- Perform site visits for initial surveys, regular contractor meetings, and construction administration/quality control (some travel may be required)
- Review millwork and stone shop drawings for accuracy and quality
- Ensure that drawings for active projects remain current based on consultant revisions and/or site conditions during construction
- Produce presentation-quality drawings to beautifully illustrate design concepts to clients
- 4+ years of experience in construction documentation/drawings in all phases (ideal candidates will have some experience in high end residential interior renovations)
- Must have excellent AutoCAD ability, demonstrated in work samples
- Must be comfortable working on multiple projects within set deadlines
- Must have a keen sense of interior millwork and detailing, as well as knowledge/experience with specification of products and materials pertaining to the architectural design
