Williams-Sonoma Inc. grows non-store business

Williams-Sonoma Inc.'s internet and catalog sales grew to 44% of total revenues in 2011 and the company expects non-store sales to account for 50% of sales in the next three years, according to a report in Home Textiles Today.

In response to foreign nationals' requests, the company will expand its international shipping to 99 countries (from 75) and it will add five more stores to the Middle East, making a total of 18.

"The largest new opportunity that we see in our future is global expansion," said President and CEO Laura Alber.
