After the successful debut of her café created in partnership with CR Laine at High Point Market last fall, interior and product designer Tobi Fairley is back for more, rolling out a collection of upholstery pieces for CR Laine as well as a 70-piece collection launching in partnership with Soicher Marin.

Joining a lineup of design luminaries like Charlotte Moss, Suzanne Kasler, Jamie Drake, Thom Filicia, Richard Mishaan, Isabelle de Borchgrave and Mariette Himes Gomez, Fairley will incorporate a wealth of color and pattern.
"Tobi is known for her use of color and her sophisticated style," said Ed Marin, owner of Soicher Marin. "She also has her finger on the pulse of how people really live today."
According to Fairley, her inspiration for the collection comes from classic design motifs, abstract art and figurative drawings.
“I am thrilled to partner with Soicher Marin for this new line,” she said. “I have been inspired by art for all of my interiors, and it is fantastic to now have a line of art that is inspired by my work in interior design.”
In addition to the new collection with Soicher Marin, Tobi Fairley for CR Laine will make its debut at the spring High Point Market (April 18-23). After announcing her collaboration with CR Laine on marketing and PR initiatives last season, a collection was the next step.
“This is such a different type of a partnership, which is exactly how I like to operate,” said Fairley. “We love CR Laine’s team, its unbelievable products, and its business philosophy—which aligns so well with our company. While we are similar, we have very different strengths that will complement each other and will allow us to offer cutting-edge and forward-thinking products, designs and ideas. Like my brand philosophy says, this is a creative approach to the world of business. So look out world.”
At the Spring High Point Market (April 18 – 23) Tobi Fairley for CR Laine will be available in the company’s Hamilton Street showroom, and shoppers will also find her collection for Soicher Marin there. In addition, the Soicher Marin collection can be found in its space in the C&D building, space 1B/1C.
