Rose Tarlow has extended her contract as the Executive Creative Director of Rose Tarlow Melrose House. She will continue designing furniture and textiles, while developing and fostering a new creative team.
An integral part of the creative team is Alexandra Thum, who was promoted to Creative Director for textiles after 5 years as Textile Manager. She will also have day to day involvement in the direction of the company’s styling and branding.
They continue to search for a creative director for furniture and visual display.
“It is a privilege to continue creating new and exciting designs for the company. I am honored to work with this new talent as we shape the future of the company,” said Tarlow.
“I am honored to partner with an industry legend like Rose and look forward to working with her as we move Rose Tarlow Melrose House in exciting new directions”, said Jobst Blacy, Rose Tarlow Melrose House CEO. “I am also so pleased to have Alexandra on our team. She is an incredible talent and I am confident that, under her creative direction, our upcoming textile collections will be fresh and innovative.”
The team will work with Tarlow designing new furniture, lighting, and textiles, and address clients' needs for shorter lead times and customization.
