Available Any Time (AAT), a new program by Resource Decor, offers designers more than 500 top-selling SKUs across the furnishings company’s designer brands. (Among them? Kelly Hoppen and Andrew Martin.) The products are guaranteed to be in stock in one of four warehouse locations.
The full designer roster includes Thomas Bina, Kelly Hoppen, Boyd, Andrew Martin and Maîson 55, with lighting by Nellcote Studio and wall art by Coup&Co.
How did the program come about? “When we launched the Resource Decor product line globally, we launched over 1,500 SKUs without any sales history or any retail track record,” Dixon Mitchell, president, Resource Decor Americas tells EAL. “As this company had auspicious goals to be in stock on all products, the voice of the customer led us down the path of creating a core group of products that are part of a stocking program. We listened to the customer who requested that we have a large amount of best-selling SKUs that were available for immediate shipment. Out of that thought, we responded with the Available Anytime assortment of products.”
The company began developing the program by identifying its top SKUs. “As with any stocking program, you want to start the review process with your best-selling SKUs,” explains Mitchell. “After that core range was selected, our merchandising team carefully curated the assortment so that a range was complete from a retail perspective. For example, a best-selling dining table must always have complimentary dining chairs and display cabinets or credenzas to round out a setting. Thus, the end result was a developed program that can provide the retailer with a complete floor set that the customer can ultimately select and have immediate delivery. Each of our designers offers unique design perspectives; within the individual brand, we have many popular designs.”
