On Saturday, designers will gather in Sagaponack to unveil this year’s vignettes for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons Designer Showhouse at the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop. Honorary Chair Mary McDonald, along with chairs Gordon Hoppe, Gigi Mahon, Lisa McCarthy, Alex Papachristidis and Marshall Watson, are involved in this year’s showhouse, and designers Sam Allen, Tracey Cavaniola, Nancy Corzine, John Stedila and Tim Button, Lynda Sylvester and Eldon Wong will debut rooms in the six-room showhouse. Proceeds will benefit ARF’s work in finding homes for animals that need them.

“Now in its sixth year, the ARF Designer Showhouse is a great kickoff to the summer season!” says Lisa McCarthy, ARF board president and co-chair of the event. “We salute the designers who have brought such creativity to their assignment, and look forward to seeing everyone. Please bring your friends; it is a fun way to support the animals.”

Each room will feature Thrift Shop items and pieces donated from the designers’ own collections, and every item in the showhouse will be available for sale. The festivities begin with a May 28 cocktail party and sale from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (get tickets), and the showhouse opens to the public May 29 and 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
