Robert Allen and interior design firm Madcap Cottage debuted their A Room With a View textile collection at last month’s ITMA Showtime, the High Point, North Carolina, textile fair. The line will officially launch this spring. The collection features floral, foliage and neutral themes inspired by the travels of John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon, the partners behind High Point– and New York–based Madcap Cottage.

Shares Loecke, “Our collection is timeless, chic, aspirational and exceptionally affordable. We traveled the world and sketched like mad to create fabrics that are rooted in history but look to the future. And all of the patterns work together seamlessly. Plus, nothing is mechanical: Each fabric feels handcrafted and special. We created a collection that you can truly make your own. We think these fabrics will be just as fresh in 20 years as they are right now.”

“These fabrics are designed to transport interiors to a place of whimsy and fun,” said Jennie Wilde, Robert Allen’s senior vice president of product design and marketing. “Jason and John, with the assistance of the Robert Allen team, have succeeded in making bold pattern mixing sophisticated, yet approachable, so that any user would be able to give their home that classy yet unexpected Madcap touch.”
