Julie Browning Bova is the first national interior designer to participate in Kindel Furniture’s Designer Artist Series, which fosters a partnership that creates and brands original furniture designs. At High Point Market, Bova debuted her Belmont Chest on Stand, which is adorned with the designer’s signature bridle-bit design and is crafted of cherry veneers and a black lacquer base. The premiere of the Designer Artist Series is an expansion of the company’s Create Something New program, which was introduced earlier this year.

“This program was created to fill a niche in the marketplace for interior designers that feel limited by their options for custom furniture. Now through the series, they will have the opportunity to have their designs executed and incorporated in the Kindel product line, branded with their name and made available for sale to all Kindel clients,” says Rob Burch, CEO of Kindel Furniture.

“Bench assembly and handcraftsmanship define Kindel’s manufacturing process, and our ability to embrace customer requests for customization on so many levels is what differentiates us,” explains Burch. “With this new program, we are taking our customization ability even further. This will allow for original designs to be built for interior designers who seek to have their own creations for residential and commercial projects.”

Shares Bova, “Kindel works to the exacting high standards I hold for myself and that my clients expect. The lacquer work is exceptional, every piece is beautifully crafted and special.”

Kindel currently offers three levels of custom furniture: Custom Finishing Touches, from paint and wood finishes to hardware options; Suit Your Style, modifications of all dimensions and wood species; and Create Something New, with completely custom, original design.
