Jennifer Miller takes a nuanced approach to neutrals. The Los Angeles designer draws inspiration from the local landscape’s soft earthy palette to create warm, versatile backdrops for texture-infused interiors.
She crafted her current flat lay with a monochrome Montecito project in mind. “The client purchased a move-in-ready, remodeled home in need of character and personality,” she says. “We were hired to bring the empty white walls and flat finishes to life.”
Grounded in dusty roses and tawny grays, the final scheme showcases a well-balanced blend of rich earth tones and light organic accents. “We wanted the design to feel like a haven, and a space immersed in natural elements immediately puts you at ease,” says Miller.
