Kelly Wearstler, Celerie Kemble, Richard Mishaan, Scot Meacham Wood, Marshall Erb and Mary McDonald were among the designers and industry pros gathered at Baker Furniture in High Point, North Carolina, to celebrate the company’s new product launches from French designer Jean-Louis Deniot. Designers shared their takes on the collection, and on the party, with EAL:

“No one can roll out the party like Baker,” shared Scot Meacham Wood. “A glorious night of impeccable style, highlighted by the debut of Jean-Louis Deniot’s new furniture collection, and a swarm of cute waiters never hurt any party!”

“Baker launched their most chic collection yet with Jean-Louis Deniot this market,” said Marshall Erb. “The showroom was packed with exquisite displays of his gorgeous furniture, beautiful people, loads of champagne, and heaps of caviar doled out by the most handsome servers! It was a taste of things to come from this heritage brand. Baker is back, and they are reminding us of what being a lifestyle brand is all about.”

“It was a delight to see my friend and design genius Jean-Louis Deniot fully realize his forward-thinking vision with Baker,” reflected Mary McDonald. “The evening was chic chic chic—only to be expected with a dynamite combination such as Jean-Louis Deniot and Baker. The silhouettes, metal casting and custom textures all culminated to create a collection expressing the finest elements of French design with a compass towards the future. Who doesn’t love a sexy gilded tunnel to draw you in?”
