Sixty-three projects are up for the INSIDE World Festival of Interiors 2016 World Interior of the Year award, which is offered across nine categories, including residences, retail, bars and restaurants, culture and transportation, creative reuse, display, offices, health and education, and hotels. Award judges include leaders from Clive Wilkinson Architects, WANG, J. Mayer H. Architecture Design Research, David Kohn, Hassell, Studio Job, Campaign and Woods Bagot. Winners will be named at the festival, which will unfold over three days this November in Berlin, in conjunction with the World Architecture Festival, and includes a selection of talks, designer-led tours through the city, parties and programming targeting the design and architecture industries.
The full INSIDE 2016 shortlist includes projects, firms and designers from around the world, such as Creative Re-Use honorees in Singapore, Australia and India; Bars & Restaurants honorees in Taiwan, China and Germany; and Hotels honorees in Hong Kong, Italy and Spain, among other locations.
