Hope Lodge event raises nearly $300k

The Hope Lodge NYC Holiday Bash raised $280,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge NYC, and was attended by 300 guests, including ACS board chair Arnold M. Baskies, actor and professional chef David Burtka, and philanthropists Ronald and Sandy Diamond.

Tablescapes were created by 27 interior designers and firms around the theme “Seasons of Hope,” which refers to the journey of a cancer patients. Sponsors for the event included Robert Allen (fabrics), Dawn Melanie Designs (flowers), Martin Albert Interiors (sewing and upholstery), Moishe’s Hospitality (moving and storage), and Generic Brand Human (photography and videography), while dinnerware, crystalware and accessories were provided by Vista Alegre, Crystalite Bohemia, Mottahedeh, Twig New York, Christofle, Kosta Boda and Michael Aram

“We are delighted to support such a wonderful cause, Hope Lodge NYC,” says Cristina Cuomo, editor in chief of Modern Luxury MANHATTAN magazine, which presented the event. “This event is all about expressing creativity and kindness through an evening filled with inspiration and extravagant design. We are so impressed by the dedication of the [designers] and are thankful for the generous outpouring and design support from all of the sponsors, donors and volunteers.”
