HGTV Home’s very first showroom highlighting the full range of products in the HGTV Home collection—paint, flooring and furniture to lighting, accessories and plants—will open in a 2,000 s.f. space in Minnesota’s Mall of America.
"Bringing our products together under one roof ... offers shoppers and fans of all ages the opportunity to see, touch and feel HGTV," said Ron Feinbaum, general manager, HGTV consumer products. "By working with our partners to develop the in-store displays, our new HGTV Home products will inspire consumers with ideas for their own home."
The showroom will feature three HGTV vignettes: “Be Bold,” “Relax,” and “Family Time,” and home furnishings lines that include the Home Furniture Collection, Home Design Studio at Bassett, Home Lighting by Elk Lighting and Home Flooring by Shaw.
The pop-up shop takes the form of a life-size gingerbread house where shoppers can watch free demonstrations and meet HGTV network talent including: David Bromstad (HGTV Design Star), Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri (Kitchen Cousins), Genevieve Gorder (HGTV Design Star), Chris Lambton (Going Yard), Scott McGillivray (Income Property), Chuck Nice (Home Strange Home), Carter Oosterhouse (Million Dollar Rooms), Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott (Property Brothers), Egypt Sherrod (Property Virgins), Sabrina Soto (The High Low Project) and Vern Yip (HGTV Design Star). DIY Network stars Nicole Curtis (Rehab Addict), Matt Muenster (Bath Crashers) and Amy Matthews (Sweat Equity), along with Sara Peterson, editor-in-chief, HGTV Magazine, also will appear.
“Mall of America has revolutionized the shopping experience for more than 20 years,” said Denise Conroy-Galley, HGTV’s senior vice president of marketing and creative. “We are excited to deliver a truly unique entertainment adventure for millions of holiday shoppers with the HGTV Holiday House and the HGTV Home Pop-Up Showroom.”
