Cynthia Rowley and Vern Yip will be judges for the Sherwin-Williams 2017 Student Design Challenge, which is open to students in the U.S and Canada and celebrates residential and commercial design. Rowley will judge residential entries and Yip will judge commercial entries.
Open for entries until April 15, the contest invites students to submit original designs in two categories: residential and commercial; the contest is open to both individuals and design teams of up to three students. The top winner from each category will receive a $2,500 cash prize; second-place winners will win a $1,000 cash prize, and third-place winners will win a $500 cash prize. The two first-place winners will also have their work featured in the 2017 edition of Sherwin-Williams’s STIR magazine.
