The design fair is moving to the Dubai Design District, where it has commissioned the Dubai-based architecture practice A Hypothetical Office to implement a new floor plan, among other features.
Among the highlights at Design Days Dubai are the Middle East Emergent Designer Prize, dedicated to recognizing up-and-coming talent in the region; the Audi Innovation Award, celebrating designers, architects and those working in both automotive and public sectors; and “The City on Display,” an exhibit of furniture inspired by the Dubai cityscape.
