Design and architecture summit coming to Dubai next month

Leaders in Design MENA, a summit hosting 150 architects, interior designers and consultants from throughout the Middle East and North Africa, will convene on November 15 and 16 in Dubai, UAE. The event will host roundtable discussions, presentations and case studies, product showcases, panel discussions and networking events. Discussions will focus on technology’s impact on design, sustainable design and trends in interior design.

Featured speakers include Marc Cerone of Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, who is creating the interior of the tallest building in the world, the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Rashid Doleh of mSquared Shopping Centres, who created the interior of Dubai Mall; Andrew Linwood of Areen Design, which worked on the world’s largest hotel, the Abraj Kudai in Mecca; and Francis Gallagher of HKS Architects, who is working on the interior of the world’s largest medical center, the King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
