The Bunny Williams for Currey & Company lighting collection will debut during High Point Spring Market next April, with about 25 pieces spanning flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers and sconces. The collection is “bold in scale,” says Currey & Company, and composed of materials including spun metal, brass, rope and carved wood.
“Nothing affects the mood of a room more than lighting. It is important to have light coming from several sources: the ceiling, the walls, and the tables. Now, with my designs for Currey, I have a lighting collection that combines to create the perfect glow,” says Williams, who drew inspiration for the collection from antique fixtures she has sourced for design projects.
“Our private-label furniture line, Bunny Williams Home, has been a leader in the table lamp category for some time and so it was of the utmost importance to select the right partner when expanding into fixtures,” says Jen Potter, COO at Bunny Williams Home. “Currey & Company is a perfect fit in terms of quality, craftsmanship and excellence. We’re thrilled to be working together.”
“Everyone here at Currey & Company is thrilled to be working with Bunny Williams and her team on this collection of lighting,” says Cecil Adams, the company’s creative director. “We are looking forward to our ongoing collaboration with one of our industry’s most respected design talents.”
