The first permanent Contardi Lounge will open tomorrow, December 14, at the Designlush showroom in the New York Design Center. The lounge will feature Contardi’s high-end lighting collection, including chandeliers and wall arrangements.
“It’s a fun and immersive design experience, where designers can come for inspiration or bring clients for a real-life demonstration of how lighting can complement and enhance fine furnishings and how thoughtful lighting impacts the way we live in rooms,” says Stephen Mitchell, co-founder of Designlush, in a statement.
The exclusive lounge will also mark the debut of the Ongo table lamp in the United States. Product designer Jessica Corr created the lamp, which is made of precious metals and handblown Murano glass.
