The Sustainable Furnishing Council is now inviting entries for its first-ever interior design competition, #GetYourGreenOn. Both a social media campaign and design awards program, #GetYourGreenOn is being launched this year in tandem with the SFC’s 10th anniversary. The competition will recognize “sustainable and healthful” home furnishings, and it will also celebrate interior designers who specify these products in their residential projects. The competition’s six winners will be announced October 21 at SFC’s 10th-anniversary celebration during fall High Point Market.
Both SFC member and non-member interior designers and design firms are eligible to enter #GetYourGreenOn. Residential interior design projects completed between January 1, 2015, and March 31, 2016, are eligible. Entries must feature at least one product from an SFC member manufacturer or supplier.
